Join the Pack

Pack 59 is always accepting new members, Girls and Boys in K – 5th grade.

To join Cub Scouting, you must Register online, have an active Membership with the National Scouting America (formerly BSA) organization, and pay Pack 59 Dues, which cover the direct cost of the activities, materials, and awards your cub scout will receive during the year.

Pack Dues:  $165 per year*
National Scouting Membership:  $85 per year 
Council Program Fee: $50 per year (paid w/ National Membership)
Scout’s Life Magazie (optional):  $15/ year (paid w/ National Membership)

In addition to these costs, you will also need to purchase a Cub Scout uniform (shift, hat, shorts, belt) appropriate to your grade/ rank at the local Alamo Area Scout Shop (2226 NW Military Hwy, 78213).  Pack 59 provides rank-specific neckerchief and Handbook for each scout, and Pack 59 t-shirts are also available for purchase at Pack Meetings.

*Pack due change slightly each year as we assess program costs, and we can offer partial-dues for Cubs who join later in the adacemic year.
